Inspired by the everyday wear of commoners during the Edo period. Made from linen twill,similar to hemp which was widely used at the time for its durability and comfort.
The frayed hem is reinforced with sashiko, referencing the traditional practice of strengthening worn areas to extend the lifetime of clothing.
